Biography
Reza Rasaei, a 34-year-old man, was arrested in Sahneh, Kermanshah, during the 2022 protests. He was accused of killing an IRGC member and sentenced to death based on what Amnesty International described as a severely unfair trial and forced confessions. His execution was confirmed by the Supreme Court in January 2024 and he was secretly executed on August 6, 2024, in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah. His mother, Dayeh Azardokht Haghjouyan, publicly mourned his death.
رضا رسایی، جوان ۳۴ ساله، در جریان اعتراضات ۱۴۰۱ در شهرستان صحنه کرمانشاه بازداشت شد. او به کشتن یک نیروی سپاه پاسداران متهم و بر اساس «اعترافات اجباری و محاکمه ناعادلانه» به اعدام محکوم شد؛ حکمی که دیوان عالی کشور آن را تایید کرد. رسایی بامداد ۱۶ مرداد ۱۴۰۳ مخفیانه در زندان دیزلآباد کرمانشاه اعدام شد. مادرش، دایه آذردخت حقجویان، با بیتابی بر مزار او سوگواری کرد.
